Gerald Ing, born, raised and currently residing in Honolulu, Hawaii, draws inspiration for his pastel, acrylic, and oil paintings from the Islands he calls home.
He continues to marvel at God's infinite color palette and countless patterns, and seeks to create realistic impressions that have unusual depth and liveliness, portraying them as dramatically as they appear in nature.
Gerald is a member of the Pastel Artists of Hawaii and the Windward Artist Guild. He previously won Second Prize in the 1995 Windward Artist Guild “Spectrum 95” competition.
